Reply with quote | #77 | Nicky, Gay - Prop 8? I can't stop laughing! You always were funny and had a great sense of humor! You always taught your mafia to never sell on price but now your boys can't even romance and sell and exclusive proprietary item above landed cost! I must say that you have in fact changed a great deal and I as you say "YOU DO KNOW ME"
See you in the wars to come! __________________ BLUE DESTROYS RED |

Maybe it's PW and his new department cronies going after all of U.S. unprofitable chain business. Sysco has lost a lot of business to U.S. Foods. Phil has tried to get back their street business they lost to U.S. Phil is the master of MDA's with false promises and unprofitable results. Sources tell me, this is Phil's last chance to save his a$$. This is all he knows, low margins no profit. So Tommy, just relax and take care of your stuff and stop all your . Tommy, don't worry about chain business. It's not so much about service as it is about how low can you go. That's why Psycho lost Mimi's to PFG. Even though Psycho was selling to Mimi's at next to nothing, PFG still made them a better offer. Right now, every customer is looking at all their suppliers. That goes for the local diner to the big national chains. No doubt we'll get that business back once everything settles down. |

Tommy, Tommy, Tommy . If your service is so bad, then why do you still have customers? Your service to your customers is better than the chains? I KNOW YOU __________________ "Ignorance is curable, stupidity is forever." |

Bad service is a realtive term. What did we do or didn't do? Did they want unrealisitic delivery times? Did they want restaurants assigned to street reps? Did they want extended credit terms? Maybe we didn't bring in a product for them because we had a competitive product in stock. Maybe they weren't paying their bills and needed an excuse. |

Wow! Very original complaint. haven't heard that one before.
Another sales person complaining about procurement running out of seemingly simple product...waaahhhhhh! And when there are 10 pallets of cranberry sauce or 500 cases of whole turkeys left I'll bet you're the first one to say..."hey, let's all help find a home for these" - NOT! You're the one saying "why did they buy so many?".
Stick to doing what YOU need to do and let all of the other departments do what they need to do. This is what other people see when they look at people like you (always pointing fingers):

Don't get me wrong..I was not complaining, I was just saying that he buys correctly and we will run out, as we should. It was not a dig on Purchasing, I think we have a pretty good group up there. |
